Event Description:
We're back with another season of Warhammer and Tabletop Gaming at Kingslayer Games Lake Forest with our Lake Forest Wargaming League Season 1 2026!

The first official escalation day will be on Monday, Feb 1st! 

The season will now consist of 8 Bi-Weeks, where matches will be scheduled in 2-week periods. Example: Bi-Week 1 - Mon, 2/1/26 to Sunday, 2/14/26. This will allow for more people to join in on the fun of the League as well as give players more flexibility in scheduling out their matches. Extra Bi-Weeks may be added due to scheduling conflicts.

Are you interested in starting Wargaming but don't know how or where to begin? Look no further! Our Warhammer League is designed to onramp people into the hobby over the course of several months. No pressure to build/paint everything right away, the goal is to reach the advertised points by the end of the phase!

You can earn points through several methods:
- Play matches against fellow league members weekly
- Hobby/paint your models in-store weekly
- Paint at least 500 points of models OR a Warband over the span of the season
- Bring a friend along to play/observe in Wargaming weekly
- Write a lore excerpt about your team / squad

Purchasing entry into the League enters you in to win awesome participation prizes and grants access to the End of Season party which takes place at the conclusion of each season! We'll be sending out forms to get each player's available schedule and will do our best to match the player against another with similar schedule and team format!

To add a bit more competitive spirit to the mix, we'll be awarding additional League points to players that win their match for the week! Tons of ways to earn points and climb that Leaderboard for the Emperor!

All coordination for matches is done through our Discord using Threads! Make sure you join our Discord community, select "Warhammer" as an interest, and enable threads! There will be a Google Form to assist in scheduling matches posted in these threads as well! Upon purchasing entry and joining the League, please put your Discord username in the notes section during checkout!
