Join us at Kingslayer Games, Lake Forest for our weekly Wargaming Wednesday from 6PM to 10PM.
Our primary focus is to expand our efforts into Warhammer 40,000 and to learn how to build and grow a community with Warhammer. We have a lot of experience in fostering communities for Trading Card Games (TCGs) and can’t wait to have wargaming in the shop.
Since we are new to Warhammer and tactical miniatures games, we would love to have community members come out to either play or help teach us the game.

I’m currently painting my Tyranid force and will be joining on Wednesdays to learn and assist in making Kingslayer a welcoming environment for new and veteran players.
The format of the event is unstructured currently. I encourage folks to show up with their armies and terrain and we can put together some pickup games with new and veteran players. As the community becomes more established, we will continue to offer events that cater to what the players want! Combat Patrol, Strike Force, Escalation League, Age of Sigmar etc.
- We have plenty of tables but I have minimal terrain. If you have some, please bring!
- I will personally only have about 1,000 points of Tyranids. If you have an army of any size please bring and we can construct some fair matches and learn together.
